Climate & Soil: Transitional Mediterranean climate, with long hot summer and mild winter, no ground frost. The region has one of the highest values of sunshine for Bulgaria. Sandy-clay and maroon soils with good permeability and structure.

Training System: low trained double Guyot
Average age of vines: 8 years
Yield per hectare: 45 hl/ha
Bottles produced: limited lot up to 10 000 bottles x 0.75 l
Alcohol content: 14.5 %
Winemaking process: grapes are manually selected and sorted before crushing. Cold pre-maceration, temperaturecontrolled fermentation in stainless steel tank. Minimal technological and enological interference is applied
Aging: 8 months in stainless steel
Refining: 6 months in bottle before release
Colour: beautiful deep ruby-red colour
Perfume: red forest berries dominating in the nose with an interesting note of dark chocolate
Flavour: powerful and lively in the mouth with yet young but round tannins. The structure is mild and grainy with good aging potential. The sensation of coffee and dark chocolate re-occurs in the taste.
Serving Recommendations: perfect with Italian pasta & pizza, light meat and fresh cheese
Serving: 15-17 degree C
